Just like my scrapbooking habit – I’m behind. So much has happened in 2023 (and 2022 was CRAZY) – so much to share! For starters, I’m writing from Waller, Texas. Yes, we finally pulled the plug on living in the city, left Sugar Land behind, and moved to the country. It won’t be country for long – I can guarantee that. We are halfway between Sugar Land and College Station and that was the intent. For easier access for a few of us, Gary moved Bizopia’s offices out of southwest Houston to Katy late last fall for too many reasons to mention. Most importantly, it was time for us to have our own space so Bizopia could bloom! And that’s exactly what’s happening – we are absolutely blooming. We had been sharing space with another company in an office/warehouse complex, and it was no longer suiting our needs. Now we have beautiful, decorated, clean offices! COME SEE US at 431 Mason Park Blvd in Katy.
The kids are doing their own things, in their own places. Chase and Shelby and THREE KIDS – Wyatt (7), Harper (almost 2), and the newest edition to the family, Miss Madelyn (6 mo). They are all rocking it in Virginia and we have been lucky enough to see them a few times this year. Grandkids…wow. HOW MUCH FUN IS THIS?!? Wyatt is currently playing flag football and loving it. Harper is following her big brother as most siblings do and teaching him the ways of living life as a Disney princess. Madelyn is just along for the ride at this point.
Alex and Colin have bought an awesome house in Missouri City and we are so blessed that they actually seem to LIKE hanging out with us. We get to see them often in Aggieland for football games, or just hanging out here at the house. Adulting has Alex working with Boston Scientific with the pacemakers division in the Houston Medical Center for over a year now, and Colin is still thriving with Liberty Mutual. Miss Millie, a beautiful American lab, joined their family in February, and is TOTALLY Colin’s dog – ha! He was uneasy about the commitment and that dog lays at his feet all day long while he’s working, thus the “his dog” designation!
Grant is a senior at the University of Texas – Dallas. Can you believe it? Baseball was rough this past spring with nagging injuries, but UTD advanced to playoffs again. With the loss of so many amazing seniors and covid-super seniors (plus a year or two), we had no idea how the season would turn out. Grant had an amazing opportunity with an internship with Crowdstrike in Austin this summer, and was blessed with a great job offer post-internship. While we REALLY missed him this summer,
We are in the middle of another trying Aggie Football season, so time is short.
